LLOYDS BANK colleagues overcame any fear of heights they had by abseiling down Hadrian’s Wall in aid of Calvert Trust Kielder.

20 brave members of staff, including managers, cashiers and financial advisors from branches across Tyne & Wear, completed the 35 metre abseil, organised a fundraising evening and also collected donations from Lloyds customers to raise a fantastic £10,000 for the charity which helps disabled people enjoy outdoor activities at the centre in Kielder.

2015 saw the ever generous staff at Cintra HR and Payroll Services take on their biggest fund raising challenge yet. Staunch supporters of COCO: Comrades of Children Overseas, Cintra was keen to help them mark their 15th birthday in style and set out to raise a total of £15,000 for the charity by participating in 15 different fundraising initiatives

NORTH EAST charity Calvert Trust Kielder has received a significant donation from regional care provider Helen McArdle to build self-catering holiday and short break accommodation at its Kielder site.
